Social isolation? More like sew-cial isolation! (Sorry, bad joke, the cabin fever is getting to me.) While we’re limiting our contact to help flatten the curve I’m enjoying catching up on projects, and having plenty of time to quilt my heart out.
Check out what’s under my needle right now. A friend made this quilt as a project at her daughter’s preschool. The children were learning about clothes and as part of the curriculum she brought in sewing machines and had the kids practice sewing. The practice squares were cut nicely from coordinating fabric. She pressed the squares, added sashing and boarders.

The quilt is a surprise for their teacher. I can’t wait to finish this project and show you the final results!

Stay safe my friends! I’d love to hear what projects you’re working on during this crazy time!
